  6. In response in particular to Sandy's comment above, maybe this poem helps settle the reader down because it focuses on the experience of a series of moments. As opposed to thoughts about them. Hm, after typing that I thought maybe it's that the poem just "goes for it." And maybe I should stop trying to analyze it and just enjoy it! :-D

  7. Roswila, I think you are right. I love the singularity of the 2nd line: no alternate plan (including failure!). There are no other choices, no other options, just a single, complete, definitive outcome.
